Oana Dumbravă – born Romanian, transferred to Italy, Germany, and established in Switzerland, I studied Philology and have always been keen on observing, photographing, and decomposing reality, telling stories, and playing with narratives. The tiny bites of nature and broken fascinating objects that kept accumulating in my household became one day themselves a narrative and a story for me to tell.
A narrative of healing, a narrative of sustainability and purpose, a narrative of joy.
By granting myself the liberty to create without excessive control, experimenting, and relinquishing the pursuit of a precise outcome, I discovered the beauty and the force of the creative act.
A force and energy that can be easily transferable to different endeavors.
The creative act works as an inner-out way of redesigning our lives, questioning ourselves and the reality around, triggering action and reaction.
Many of the terms I use to define my “work” are Sylwia’s copywriting. Thank you, Sylwia, and thank you, Vlad for the time and space you have gifted me over the years.
