Emotions translated into craft

An attempt to heal through a creative journey, searching for meaning, bites of truth and ways of giving shape to feelings using what I had around: pieces of wood, aluminum can, dried flowers, wine bottle seal, acorn, onion leaves, pumpkin seeds, polyester, pumpkin cover.

Vulnerability 1

It will hurt,

But it will also set you free.

Vulnerability 2

It will uncover your heart

And cover your sorrow.

Vulnerability 3

It will make you feel like you loose

When you’re about to win.

Anger 1

Don’t look back

With anger.

Anger 2

If you keep it inside

It will grow.

Anger 3

Let it out

And watch it go.

Shame 1

Covering up your loneliness, heartbreak, grief, helplessness, or physical flaws, is volatile as yellow onion skin.

Shame 2

If it makes you feel that you are truly and objectively responsible, and in addition, it motivates you to really want to fix and repair something to correct it, that’s a shame that helps you grow.

Shame 3

Don’t be afraid

To see yourself small

And carry the clouds of hope

Freedom 1, 2, 3

The illusion of freedom

Could keep you imprisoned.
